| | | Shuraki Trinity's Liu Mei Feng, Moetan's Pastel Ink, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu's Nagato Yuki and Yakin Byoutou's Nanase Ren figures all unboxed! | | | Above: Shuraki Liu Mei Feng, Pastel Ink, Nagato Yuki and Nanase Ren | Let's start off with my very first Shuraki series figure, Liu Mei Feng. She is a castoffable figure and the detail of this figure is very impressive. Mei took me while to transform her into different version as shown below and I actually like her "original version" most because of her celestial robes over her arms. The box also includes some goodies i.e. a drama CD and a photobook. | | | Above: Shuraki Trinity Liu Mei Feng with celestial robes | | | | Above: Shuraki Trinity Liu Mei Feng "Damaged Version" | | | Above: Shuraki Trinity Liu Mei Feng "Hidden version" (I took a glance at the box and it didn't mention that you can remove her outfit, so I named it "Hidden version") | Moving on, we have Nagato Yuki produced by Alter below. I have always liked Alter's sculpting and paint job (I possess Alter's Djibril and Alter's Beat Angel Escalayer). They seem to use very high quality paint on their figures. Unboxing Yuki is easy, simply pulled her out of the box and she's ready to be moe'ed over. | | | Above: Alter's Nagato Yuki of "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi" | Now we have the biggest box Pastel Ink of anime Moetan. Unboxing and assembling this figure really made me scratch my head despite the provided assembly/instruction guide. She has more than 15 separate parts including joints, ribbons and Arks (the duck) straight out of the box and it took me a while to join everything together! She has the coolest- and cutest-looking base I have ever seen! And oh... she is the most expensive figure of all the 4 figures acquired today. I didn't plan to buy Ink-chan initially but after looking at online buddy Ron's professionally taken photos, I was really tempted to get her *moeeeeeee*... | | | Above: Moetan's Pastel Ink | Lastly, I unboxed Nanase Ren of H-anime Yakin Byoutou. I do not think I want to explain any further about Nanase Ren, go find out yourself. This is definitely something NOT for everybody. Unboxing Ren is easy and no instruction provided nor required for this figure. | | Read or post comment (5 Otaku comments) | ron~ (Melbourne, Australia) Posted July 16th, 2008 12:38 am (Wed) | Nice loots :) Nice photos as well, but I find some parts are a lil bit too bright :) | | jus a loser (Kuala Lumpur) Posted July 16th, 2008 8:54 am (Wed) | Wow u finally got it too bad i've decide to get Yagami Hayate, so i don't have any extra cash to get Liu Mei Feng..... Too bad though kinda nice but have to give up in the end T_T | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted July 16th, 2008 9:37 am (Wed) | @ron~ Hey thanks! Yeah, you are right, I overdid the editing in Photoshop. I realized this problem when I was using my laptop, I guess I have to re-calibrate my main rig's LCD monitor. @jus a loser, Yup, FINALLY I've got myself Mei Feng from XL and now 'moeing' over her.... Same goes to Alter's Nagato Yuki. The rest were bought online. Wow! I checked the price just now and Yagami is one heck of an expensive figure! | | samanosuke (London) Posted July 16th, 2008 1:29 pm (Wed) | Cool haul - I also ordered Mei Feng from Play-Asia so it I should be getting mine soon ^^ | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted July 16th, 2008 3:09 pm (Wed) | @samanosuke, Congrats! Mei Feng is the best of all five :) | | | | | | |
