The deal got even better when I used one of my Play-Asia coupons upon placing this preorder (99% of the time Play-Asia give me a US$5 coupon code inside every figurine box they ship to me for my next purchase use)l. This Suzumiya Haruhi Beach version is scheduled to be released sometime in November 2008, long wait! Oh yes, this is very worth mentioning, Haruhi Beach version is castoffable!!!

The figure would be the arguably best looking Asahina Mikuru of "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi". This 1/7 scale Mikuru Gothic Punk version scheduled to be released this October. Reservation has started at HobbySearch and Play-Asia.

It is obvious that the "Gothic" themed figure that Griffon Enterprises produce for Mikuru is a follow-up of the recently released Suzumiya Haruhi Gothic Lolita version, 2 days ago. Both gothic versions of Haruhi and Mikuru have the same scale of 1/7 and I see them as a very good duo when placed together.

oh, and how comes you get free shipping from play-asia??

Hi and welcome! Um... I would not say that this is the best Haruhi figure but it is kinda special, for the first time, Haruhi is castoffable!
Most probably is because Kuala Lumpur is just not too far away from Play-Asia (Hong Kong company) so they ship to me for free. There are a few exceptions however such as the FREEing 1/4 scale Haruhi Bunny series, their boxes are VERY BIG!!!

Posted July 17th, 2008 3:52 am (Thu) | Well i not considering myself as a haruhi fanboy anymore (you know the reason very well) but still this IS the the most best looking among all though but won't get myself one though (coz i've spend too much on lucky star n to-loveru) well in the end a very high quality one i would say. (off topic)p.s:bout the suzumiya no tomadoi might not s bad s i think it should be may can make it if i have the time to make it coz not all event comes wit a picture so i should able to use back MY OWN GUIDE to save the day.)

C'mon, I thought you like Mikuru a lot since you always do the "Mi... Mi... Mikuru BEAAMMM!!!" pose in front of my face. As for built-quality, I haven't had any Griffon's figure but this one should be an easy recommendation, looks very promising.
Off topic: Can't wait for your Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi 'perfect' save file and guide :)
