| | | WOOHOO!!! Finally... the BIG BOSS EMBLEM is mine and that was just moments ago. The BBE was a great experience, as it is the ultimate challenge in METAL GEAR SOLID 4: Guns Of The Patriots a.k.a MGS4.
There were 3 places where I was stuck for a while. Firstly, it was at the beginning of Act.2 where I was having difficulties saving the rebels but I eventually got over it by ignoring them! Secondly, the Big Mama bike chase in Act.3 was almost pure luck, countless times of reloading the game but with the help of Solar Gun, I managed to get through the final checkpoint of the chase. I have to say that "Auto-Aim" was really helpful when taking off those jeeps with PMC behind his turret. And lastly, Screaming Mantis! This is one heck of a nasty boss, I hate it when she hides her Mantis doll with Meryl! I used the default M4 machine gun and it failed me for more than 30 game reloads, but a while ago decided to try the M870 shotgun out and I took her off in 3 attempts! About an hour later I got the BBE after beating Liquid Ocelot, cheesy.

As you could probably tell from the above stats, I didn't bother much about the story-telling thus skipped many Flashbacks. Also, from the yellow ribbons shown below, you could tell that I was on my third run in getting the BBE. I shall be working on acquiring more Emblems especially the Assassin Emblem in order to unlock the Assassin Creeds costume, Altair.

Wow, NICE MGS phrase! Thanks. Hey, wish you good luck in getting your BBE. And oh, I forgot to mention that MGS4 really needs a HDTV, that's why I bought one even if it cost me a bomb.

You are gonna collect all the Emblems? That's crazy. The Chicken Emblem is a torture to your PS3.
I was rushing so I simply grabbed my tallest figure, Yuki. Haruhi is pointing at the "BIG BOSS" title as shown :)

I haven't played MGS4 since the day I got it (if I remember correctly, I just met the little robot, Wall-e, in the battle field ^^) I should definitely get back on the game!

Anyway, I am feeling tempted to purchase my own HD LCD TV for my own room.. The current CRT TV is quite obselete and its deteriorating every day.. Now even the buttons are coming off.. XD
