Overseas Otaku Buying Tips |
Making
online purchases/pre-orders especially for Jpop
CDs and anime/game PVC figures have always been
the best option for me (and many otakus who do
not live in Japan). Listed below are my wish list,
preorders and purchases from these reputable online
companies. Your purchase via these links supports
this site :)
YesAsia
(Bought my Jpop CD/DVD here)
J-list
(many 'weird' Japanese stuff)
HobbySearch
(Comprehensive inventory
but no free shipping
and no shipping cost
provided upon placing
an order )
HLJ
(very good alternative to HobbySearch)
E2046
(many figures & rules in resin
kit)
Play-Asia
(My #1 online shop)

| | | Nendoroid Pastel Ink of Moetan is my most anticipated figure of the month and was immediately picked up when she hit XL-Shop just moments ago. Upon unboxing Pastel Ink saw many additional parts including a pair of faces with different expressions, arms, hands, legs, chair, a ribbon, a magic wand and a stand that crammed the box. | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink Box | | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink (back) | | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink Parts | | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink | | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink | Nendoroid Pastel Ink and the base from Pastel Ink 1/8 figure add value to each other as they are compatible by using the supplied adapter. | | | Above: Nendoroid Pastel Ink on 1/8 scale figure base (sold separately) | As being creative isn't my strength, I simply grabbed my other Nendoroids and placed them together for these shots :p | | Above: Mad Nendoroids!!! From left: Suzumiya Haruhi, Pastel Ink, Demonbane Al Azif | | | | Above: Magical Teacher Pastel Ink and the far superior potential teacher Nagato Yuki. | | | Read or post comment (6 Otaku comments) | フェイダムさん (Singapore) Posted August 16th, 2008 12:13 am (Sat) | Lol, you sure love Nendoroids, don't you. Then again who can resist their cuteness? It's just to die for! | | Jus a loser (Kuala Lumpur) Posted August 16th, 2008 10:07 am (Sat) | パステルインクはかわいい!!!!!萌えすぎ!!!!haha,i knew you will get it, good smile's Pastel Ink nendoroid is too cute!!!! かわいすぎ | | nanu (USA) Posted August 16th, 2008 7:37 pm (Sat) | wow is that a carbon copy of Nagato's chair? She must have imaged it :P Although I know naught of Moetan, that is quite the baby-cute nendoroid | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted August 17th, 2008 4:40 am (Sun) | @ フェイダムさん, Nyaahaha, I was't really into Nendoroids before I got Miku! @ Jus a loser, Oh yes, XL still have tons of Pastel Ink, when are you getting yours? @ nanu, Oh, the chairs, I did an A-B comparison and they are not identical actually. Yuki's seems better. Ink herself has a baby-cute personality and her Nendoroid head is the smallest if you look at the above pic closer. Welcome and thanks for dropping by! | | Fariz Asuka (Singapore) Posted August 19th, 2008 3:09 am (Tue) | Kawaii~~ And OMG.. So many nendoroids.. *Bow down to Nendo King* | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted August 19th, 2008 10:19 am (Tue) | @ Fariz Asuka, Nendo King?! LOL!!! Not quite yet but I'm working on it :) | | | | | | |
