| | | Goodsmile Company (GSC) has just recently announced the release date of the upcoming Hiyori Pixie 1/8 PVC figure which is some time in January 2009 but I could not decide if I should press the "Reserve" button at HobbySearch (HS) right now or wait for either Play-Asia or the local XL-Shop to open their preorder. I would definitely prefer to get her at XL-Shop... for reasons stated below.

If she is not R18, I would have already placed my order at HS but I wouldn't want to see her being held at customs/KPDN later as they are quite aware of N.S.F.W figures now. Never before I have bought an R18 figure at HS just to inform you. I have only done so at Play-Asia for my recently acquired R18 ChuChu Astram, which was a risk I took. XL-Shop sometimes miss some 'major' releases, such as Figma Hatsune Miku, Gothic Lolita Haruhi, a few Queen's Blade girls, many re-releasement e.t.c but hopefully they are able to secure Pixie for preorder.
While I am absolutely not an eroge player, I would still like share with you my findings regarding Hiyori Pixie (I have seen her name spelled Hiyori Pixy somewhere) who is one of eroge "Chu x Chu Idol" characters. GSC official site description states that she plays as a kind-hearted manager in the game. Pixie is a supporting character in the game while pink-haired Chua Churam (fusion of ChuChu Astram and Nakauti Chiyu) plays as the heroine. Not quite sure if this game is popular but it does seem so judging from the online promotional materials at UNiSONSHIFT. There are some nice hi-resolution wallpapers, promo leaflets & video and downloadable demo at the download section.

Update 2008-09-19: In our conversation moments ago with the manager of XL-Shop (was there to collect figma Kagami), it was told that they have received preorder notification for Pixie but still under thorough consideration (due to recent R18 figurine issue faced locally) whether or not to start accepting preorder. | |  Read or post comment (4 Otaku comments)  | Panther

Talk about preorders, I'm just slightly behind you with 10 right now. Will be adding Pixie and figma Ryoko later :) And WOW, just saw Alter KOS-MOS Swimsuit too and she hits the ¥8K mark! *resist temptation*

Pixie is castoffable, so it's both.
Nope, GSC put the <3 <3 up to prevent nose bleeding I guess... *nose bleeds even more anyways*
