Tag: Figure, To Heart 2 Another Days, Nanako, Nekomimi | | | The final day of year 2008 brings chou-moe Nanako -NEKOMIMI SUKUMIZU- of To Heart 2 Another Days!!! This HUGE 1/5 scaled figure was quite an impulse purchase, I never thought that Nanako would come into my possession although she did make it to my wishlist a few months ago. She was acquired when I was collecting my Nendoroid Playsets A & B at XL-Shop just today.

Note: Sukumizu means "School Swimsuit".
Nanako was retailed at 9,800 yen (excluding shipping) so I thought the shop manager gave me a good price at MYR328 (~USD94) despite the Yen has gone up significantly. I would've paid MYR400 (~USD115) or more should I pre-ordered her online.
I couldn't find my DSLR so I grabbed my sister's compact camera, Lumix FX10 and took some photos of Nanako for this blog entry. As shown below, the 1/5 scaled Nanako is almost as large as a 1/4 scaled Suzumiya Haruhi Bunny Girl and her head has similar size to that of a Nendoroid. If you are not a lolicon nor a To Heart fan, I'd say that the 1/5 scale is primarily Nanako's selling point :D~~~

An up-close shot using macro mode at Nanako's hair reveals some imperfections but they are not really visible to naked eyes.

Never would have thought...... Well it is still moeru to me. Oh ya Ake Ome.(short ver of akemashite omedetou gozaimasu) Haha a bit early though. Oh ya aren't school swimwuit suppose to be suku-rumizu(In katakana)???

Not a "To Heart 2" fan at all but somehow got hooked to Nanako :p Yeah, I'm still waiting for my Unity Yuno to arrive, ordered her from Play-Asia. I hope she won't get into any trouble at local customs as she's R18.
I realized that before posting, did take a close look at Nanako's box and it's written clearly "SUKUMIZU".

Nanako really looks MOE.. I wont be able to get her as my mum would kill me for having such Kawaii~~ loli.. =_=;;

Nanako should be my favourite figure of the year. Extremely happy with the purchase! Oh, the bed and pillow came altogether in the box :)

The first, second and up-close shots were taken using Lumix FX10 and the results turned out surprisingly good.
Understood. I think my mom will go crazy too if I place Nanako beside my bed (she looks really good there though).
