Humanizer "moved" me back to m.o.v.e! Released recently was Jpop group m.o.v.e's 9th original album "Humanizer"! Initial D fans should be familiar with this group for their OP and ED songs for the anime while m.o.v.e's hardcore fans will be delighted for the release of this full-length album. It has been 3 years (!) since their previous album "GRID" was released.

Very bold cover! *Loved It*

My last album purchased was "SYNERGY" back in 2002 and have gradually stopped listenning to them since then. The release of single "GHETTO BLASTER" in 2004 marked the point I dropped m.o.v.e. I was completely not aware of their release until I re-visited their official site after a very brief mention to my friends of how I got in to techno.

m.o.v.e's New Album "Humanizer"

"Humanizer" seems to be an album I'll listen a lot as most of it's tunes bear resemblance to their early works. I have only listened twice and it's growing on me slowly.

Tracks such as "Blazability", "DIVE INTO STEAM", "HYPNOTIZER" and "Kiss Me Now" can be related to "Blazin' Beat","words of the mind/Gamble Rumble", "Majestic Flight" and "Around the world". I could somehow relate "Party Nation" and "Lady Butterfly" to "SUPER SONIC DANCE" but there may be a better relationship. "KEEP ON MOVING" really reminds me of "Romancing Train" which was a soundtrack of "Final Fantasy:Unlimited". Overall, "Humanizer" is definitely going to be an enjoyable album. Very easy recommendation if you liked their old songs :) (sample here)

SYNERGY is my most listened m.o.v.e's album! "Romancing Train" and "come together" are my all-time favourite.

And of course, I listened to all of their ground-shaking "HYPER TECHNO REVOLUTION" remix albums a lot too.

Lastly, in case if you are wondering, INITIAL D's OP "Blazing Beat" was the track that got me hooked up to m.o.v.e. :)

@ Rin,
Me too! In my playlist, only their songs can give my sub-woofer a good workout.
Oh? Noizy Tribe was released after GHETTO BLASTER so I haven't listened to it yet. Gah, I have to pick m.o.v.e back, thanks!
