 | m.o.v.e - Humanizer Posted: February 19th, 2009 5:38 am (Thu) by Divine Fang Last Edited: - Views: 4508 [Permalink] Tag: Jpop, move, Humanizer, Initial D | | | Humanizer "moved" me back to m.o.v.e! Released recently was Jpop group m.o.v.e's 9th original album "Humanizer"! Initial D fans should be familiar with this group for their OP and ED songs for the anime while m.o.v.e's hardcore fans will be delighted for the release of this full-length album. It has been 3 years (!) since their previous album "GRID" was released. | | | Very bold cover! *Loved It* | | Humanizer AVCT-10169 Release Date: 01.21.09 Price: ¥3,000 [Track listing] Listen at mu-mo.net 01. Overture of "Humanizer" 02. BLAZABILITY 03. DIVE INTO STREAM 04. HYPNOTIZER 05. Kiss Me Now 06. Party Nation 07. Step Into Shangri-la 08. Don't Cry For Me 09. KEEP ON MOVIN' 10. Beautiful Desire ~Utsukushiki Yokubau~ 11. Dim Light, Starlight 12. Lady Butterfly 13. Love Addiction 14. Aosora no Flight -S2800 32MB MIX- | My last album purchased was "SYNERGY" back in 2002 and have gradually stopped listenning to them since then. The release of single "GHETTO BLASTER" in 2004 marked the point I dropped m.o.v.e. I was completely not aware of their release until I re-visited their official site after a very brief mention to my friends of how I got in to techno. | | | m.o.v.e's New Album "Humanizer" | "Humanizer" seems to be an album I'll listen a lot as most of it's tunes bear resemblance to their early works. I have only listened twice and it's growing on me slowly. Tracks such as "Blazability", "DIVE INTO STEAM", "HYPNOTIZER" and "Kiss Me Now" can be related to "Blazin' Beat","words of the mind/Gamble Rumble", "Majestic Flight" and "Around the world". I could somehow relate "Party Nation" and "Lady Butterfly" to "SUPER SONIC DANCE" but there may be a better relationship. "KEEP ON MOVING" really reminds me of "Romancing Train" which was a soundtrack of "Final Fantasy:Unlimited". Overall, "Humanizer" is definitely going to be an enjoyable album. Very easy recommendation if you liked their old songs :) (sample here). | | | Above: m.o.v.e official site | | | | Above: m.o.v.e official english site | Omake These are random shots of some of my m.o.v.e CD collection. | | | Above: m.o.v.e - euro movement | | | | Above: m.o.v.e - OPERATION OVERLOAD SEVEN | | | | Above: m.o.v.e - SUPER TUNE | SYNERGY is my most listened m.o.v.e's album! "Romancing Train" and "come together" are my all-time favourite. | | | Above: m.o.v.e - Hyper Techno Mix Revolution I | And of course, I listened to all of their ground-shaking "HYPER TECHNO REVOLUTION" remix albums a lot too. | | | Above: m.o.v.e - Hyper Techno Mix Revolution II | Lastly, in case if you are wondering, INITIAL D's OP "Blazing Beat" was the track that got me hooked up to m.o.v.e. :) | | Read or post comment (2 Otaku comments) | Rin (Toronto) Posted February 20th, 2009 2:34 am (Fri) | Ah....M.O.V.E.!!!!! They are still one of my fav groups... I still listen to their music from time to time... My fav M.O.V.E song is Noizy Tribe. Great song!!!!!! | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted February 21st, 2009 2:35 am (Sat) | @ Rin, Me too! In my playlist, only their songs can give my sub-woofer a good workout. Oh? Noizy Tribe was released after GHETTO BLASTER so I haven't listened to it yet. Gah, I have to pick m.o.v.e back, thanks! | | | | | | |
