Tag: Anime, Queen's Blade, Ruro no Senshi | | | While some (or many?) anime fans will appreciate the overloading fan "service" very well, it is perhaps the main attraction of this recently broadcasted anime Queen's Blade Rurou no Senshi (or Queen's Blade TV) was the prominent seiyuu (voice actors) who took part and brought all the 2D mega oppai girls from Queen's Blade to life.
Note: Queen's Blade is a series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan, based on the licensed works from Lost Worlds. First published in 2005, it features only female characters. (more info at Queen's Blade Wiki Entry)
Anime Adaptation: "In 4 years time the competition that will decide who the next Queen shall be will start. The strongest warrior will continue to rule the country according to tradition and expand it. The contestants need only be older than 12 years. They need not be human, intelligent or even of that country. The rules for the tournament are simple: murder is allowed. Any weapon can be chosen. The winner is decided when one of the participants flees or can't move anymore. Such event is broadcasted trough a crystal sphere by the court's magic teacher to all population to see and enjoy." Love The Seiyuu
Being my favourite seiyuu, Ayako Kawasumi who voice acted the main character Leina, was quite easily identified. Ayako Kawasumi impressed me in her past works such as Saber of Fate/Stay Night, Mahoro of Mahoromatic and Rukiko of Gatekeepers among many.
While seiyuu Aya Hirano (behind the kawaii character Nanael) was effortlessly identifiable, Melona's voice actor was somehow a challenge. I ended up researching at AnimeNewsNetwork and was a bit surprised to find out that she was the famous Rie Kugimiya! Aya was extremely famous for her role in "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu" and "Lucky Star" while Rie excelled in giving life to tsunderes -Nagi, Louise and Shana in "Hayate no Gotoku", "Zero no Tsukaima" and "Shakugan no Shana"-.
Love The Queen's Blade TV Debut
While I am aware that this isn't the first time the Japanese TV reveal topless 2D girl straight down to the details, Queen's Blade however seems to take one step further from the familiar oppai-loaded "Ikkitousen GG" this time around -peeing and b*****e now included-. The first episode of this anime was broadcasted in its raw form by AT-X, meaning having no filtered oppai scene. This is presumably identical to the Blu-ray version which is scheduled to hit stores in June (see some bold screen shots below). Yeah! Nihon FTW! (I just do not see any other part of the world will go FTW too^^;)

Love Queen's Blade Figures Too!
I came to know about Queen's Blade from my brother who own Nyx P-4 color and started to love these girls since I got Ymir. I have both color variants of Ymir and she's the only Queen's Blade figurine I have. I do posses the spin-off Queen's Gate Alice Boost version and Alice Loli version though. As for now I am tempted to get the juicy Melona (a.k.a Merorna) and Leina but they don't seem to be available at local stores anymore. HLJ is still to be giving a special deal on Leina since January though.

i'm so desensitized to fan service though the only thing that really surprised me was the boob cannon. that... that was really something hahahaha
just what i expected... a fan service festival to breath some life into the figures i've bought. love it! ^__^
