 | Kotone Ousaka Posted: October 7th, 2009 3:52 pm (Wed) by Divine Fang Last Edited: October 8th, 2009 9:13 am (Thu) Views: 5418 [Permalink] Tag: Figure, Tony Taka, Kotone, Ousaka, Native | | | While many collectors have had their Kotone Ousaka's photo blog up, mine has just arrived, about 8 months since the day I pre-ordered her from Toylet. Kotone was love-at-first-sight when Danny Choo shared about her early this year and I immediately had my fund allocated on her (the main reason that I did not pre-order the much hyped GSC's Saber Lily). Sculptured by Max Factory, she is a NATIVE-Web exclusive figure at 1/7 scale based on Tony Taka's artwork. And being "exclusive" means that she carries a hefty price tag especially for overseas figurine collectors *ouch, my wallet!* Kotone, boxed in a slide-out green hard case with golden text, has no photograph whatsoever printed on the box! The banana you see is actually its inner yellow box containing the actual figure. With its elegant packaging, NATIVE definitely gives owners the impression that Kotono is a premium figure. Omake: Some thought that Kotone is too hot, and the banana agrees O.o. | | | Above: Kotone Ousaka Hi-Resolution Wallpaper (1920x1280) | | | | Above: Kotone is based on Tony Taka's artwork. |

This sculpture is really great, but the figure is a little sexy ^^ To much for me ^^ | | Ultimaknight (Round Table) Posted October 7th, 2009 4:53 pm (Wed) | I'm still waiting on my preorder from Toylet. =/ Hoping to see her arrive very soon. She looks amazing in all the photos I have seen of her, can't wait to see her up close. And of course photograph her =3 | | Panther (Urban Hell) Posted October 7th, 2009 11:07 pm (Wed) | Lol right before I read this entry mine just arrived too from Toylet. Got on the bandwagon too late to order her from the usual sources. Expensive, but she is very good, the best of the Native webshop exclusives so far. | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted October 8th, 2009 8:11 am (Thu) | @ Leonia, Thanks! Haha... this sexy figure is mainly targeted on male otaku :) As usual, feel free to post it on Shadonia if you find her appropriate. @ Ultimaknight, Yes she definitely is! I find Kotone is a bit difficult to photograph, she only looks good from her front left angle. @ Panther, Eh, Toylet is the only source that carries Kotone? LOL! Agreed, she's the best out of the bunch. I did think of getting another Native figure (Collet) but Kotone just sets the bar too high. | | Lylibellule (Belgique) Posted October 9th, 2009 11:24 pm (Fri) | I like this figure. Native has done a good job. It is true that for us who live outside Japan, we had to pay more premium for it but it's worth it. | | Divine Fang (Kuala Lumpur, MY) Posted October 10th, 2009 11:20 am (Sat) | Lylibellule, Or you could say that Native nailed it right :) Agreed, expensive but she's a masterpiece. | | | | | | |
