Japanese TV programme "Yama-chan Non-chan no FF Gakuen" revealed some very interesting inside scoop of making the character Snow Villiers of Final Fantasy XIII as well as his lip-sync animation. Seen below are his painted skin layer covering up the raw 3D meshes.

The lip animation, seems rather easy to produce accurately thanks to the limited Japanese character pronunciation as shown below. Do check out the clip for some rather funny comments by the guests (in Japanese though) too ^^:
