| | | So I have moved this blog from free host Byethost to my previous paid web host Imhosted. If you are reading this then you are now served by Imhosted. I actually had good experience with them and the site was loading smoothly from my end. However...
...due to reasons mentioned previously, I moved to Byethost which seemed to be a suitable place to host this blog too. It performed well for over a month until I saw my account and blog completely suspended yesterday. Reason being "because of exceeding concurrent connections allowed on Byethost" given by their support team. I was also informed that it is not possible to access my control panel and re-activate my site unless I upgrade to their paid hosting plan. I knew I was caught, badly. Throughout the past few months the site traffic was very consistent and minimal, and I saw no spikes on my Google Analytic graph. After insisting on doing a backup of my database and files, Byethost somehow managed to re-activate my free account, without any upgrades done *huh?*. I was then even allowed to continue the use of their service as if nothing happened *O.o*.
It wasn't a pleasant experience at all with such free host, and thus decided to move everything back to paid hosting. I am all relieved now! (^_^)

It depends on which package you choose there at Imhosted. Overall I'd say they are very affordable for bloggers like us. As for me, I am on a free trial for a month (used their promotional coupon "FREE") and will sign up for a year contract later.
Yup, glad they did that :)
