| | | Hi guys, it's been a long while since my last post! Gomen gomen... m(_ _)m! Okay, up for photoshoot today is the 1/7 scaled Hatsune Miku Tony Version by Max Factory! From my research, she is sold out locally and is no longer available on major online retailers that I am familiar with -Hobby Search, Amiami, HLJ, Play-Asia, XL e.t.c-. This unit that I purchased was probably one of the last few remaining stocks available on HLJ about 2 weeks ago. I do feel lucky that I was able to get her even though I didn't pre-order her earlier :p! (Still in stock at a very expensive price here)

What sets Miku Tony ver. apart from other Miku figures is that she has very glossy twintail, and from some reviews and comments that I have read, some collectors find them to be awkward. Perhaps under different lighting condition, I do find those glossy tails are a VERY much welcome feature for this dynamically posed Miku. You will either love it or hate it. Those tails also have translucent gradient finish and you will need to look at Mikatan's review for some up-close shots.

With Miku's twintail swirling around her turning body, it is rather difficult to get lights onto her dress consistently with my amateur photography setup. I needed to re-position my lights for different angle. Shown below is, in my opinion, the best and most attractive feature for this sculpture, the all metallic silver finish on Miku's dress! She just sparkles!

Miku's bottom portion has a womanly body sculpting with the skirt emphasizing her shapely buttocks, thus making up for her usual lacking in the upper body department this time around. Definitely perks me up, Miku!

Absolutely ^_^! The best Miku figure, that is until I get my hands on GSC Lat-type and Max Factory Append later.
Though sold widely, she is still out there somewhere if you try hard enough.
