Ever since I stopped playing Tekken 6, my PSP had been almost dormant until I decided to load up The 3rd Birthday about 2 days ago. Although I knew that could not make a good sense of the storyline with my minimal nihongo skill (the English version will be out soon), seeing the amount of effort Square Enix put on the graphics is more than enough to my fingers to resurrect my PSP. And based on my naked eyes the game seems to be running at a solid 30fps which is very good for the amount of details there.

As of now, I am in the midst of Episode 5 and having a hard time killing the Reaper with my poor shooting skill and messed up OE board, but I can't wait finish the first run to unlock one of these fancy costumes. Details of Aya's costume unlocking under the cut...

A.C.E: Another Century's Episode:R may be a rather peculiar game to the west, but in Japan it was a big hit and have made it to the #1 bestselling console game title for a while, reportedly here. This PS3 game was released about two weeks ago and I have just received it from Play-Asia, which is actually a purchase on behalf of my friend, apparently a mecha game fan (particularly the Gundam series). I was granted the permission to give this game a spin at the comfort of my home as well as taking some unboxing photos which you can inspect below. MGS RISING 2010 Trailer

The new trailer of METAL GEAR SOLID RISING (MGSR) "Cut What You Will" made its debut at the recent E3 and is also available on official MGS RISING site now! Keyman Hideo Kojima seems to be more generous at E3 this year, showing some actualy gameplay footage of MGSR in addition to the cinematic scene from the game, rather than just a video of Raiden's photo scrolling last year.

Quick post, 6 weeks after the shipment date and my Tekken 6 UMD finally arrived! The long delay was rather unexpected despite the holiday season as most of my items ordered at Play-Asia would normally arrive within 10-12 days, or 4 weeks at most for slow shipment. Anyways I took a quick snap of the back cover and UMD of PSP Tekken 6, shown below.

Japanese TV programme "Yama-chan Non-chan no FF Gakuen" revealed some very interesting inside scoop of making the character Snow Villiers of Final Fantasy XIII as well as his lip-sync animation. Seen below are his painted skin layer covering up the raw 3D meshes.
