Overseas Otaku Buying Tips |
Making
online purchases/pre-orders especially for Jpop
CDs and anime/game PVC figures have always been
the best option for me (and many otakus who do
not live in Japan). Listed below are my wish list,
preorders and purchases from these reputable online
companies. Your purchase via these links supports
this site :)
YesAsia
(Bought my Jpop CD/DVD here)
J-list
(many 'weird' Japanese stuff)
HobbySearch
(Comprehensive inventory
but no free shipping
and no shipping cost
provided upon placing
an order )
HLJ
(very good alternative to HobbySearch)
E2046
(many figures & rules in resin
kit)
Play-Asia
(My #1 online shop)

(Post date: 2009-11-09, Views: 3000)
Idol of the day Anri Sugihara (official blog) is no random pick from my idol photo gallery folder. She was a featured idol on Apple approved ero apps a while ago. This 27-year-old idol is still active in the Japanese gravure industry and has just recently released her latest DVD "Big Love" and delicious 2010 calendar last month. More Anri Sugihara... |

Japan Charity Fiesta and Bazaar 2008
(Post date: 2008-11-10, Views: 2611)
Held yesterday at Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, the Japan Charity Fiesta and Bazaar was a thrill. The event promoted and sold not only Japanese foods/snacks but also introduced Ennichi to local citizens. "Ennichi is a happy event in Japan. People celebrate it by playing games and prominent roads will be filled with stalls selling different kinds of food,"... |

Tokito Ami - The Japan Meganekko Idol
(Post date: 2008-05-25, Views: 5468)
I am a new blogger and I've just picked something new up, I noticed that many otaku blogs have one thing in common, i.e... posting some "Not Safe For Work" or Gravure Japanese babes stuff randomly. And Shin-Otaku is no exception... |

(Post date: 2008-05-07, Views: 1321)
It has been
quite a while since I read this UK Magazine called WTF
(What's The Future?) Issue 3, published Feb 2008. I find the headline
interesting -BIG IN JAPAN- and I thought I should mention
some of the interesting parts here.... |
